Fintech & wallets

A wallet lives or dies on trust. If a login code is late, the user retries, gets two codes and gives up. If a debit alert never arrives, they call support — or worse, they don't notice fraud.

How SMSRay helps

  • OTP in one call

    We generate the 6-digit code, send it, keep only its hash and check it for you. Codes expire after 5 minutes.

  • Abuse limits built in

    60-second resend cooldown, 5 attempts per code, 3 codes per number per 10 minutes, and per-IP limits when you pass the user's IP.

  • Exactly-once alerts

    Send each transaction alert with an Idempotency-Key. A retry from your side returns the original response instead of a second SMS.

  • Codes hidden in logs

    Generated OTPs show as “(OTP hidden)” in the dashboard and API, so staff never see live codes.
